Robert Brown remains a proven Mercer tight end with all-conference upside
In the 2015 season, Robert Brown ranked fourth on Mercer and third among Southern Conference tight ends with 17 catches for 303 yards and 3 touchdowns, and Mercer also notes he earned 2015 Second Team All-SoCon honors. That production, plus his 6-foot-2, 225-pound frame, points to a tight end who can win as a receiver while handling real in-line work. He’s the kind of player coaches like because he already showed he can be a reliable, productive target when healthy, with enough versatility to help an offense in multiple personnel looks.
