veteran UIC guard with scoring touch, playmaking chops, and a physical two-way edge
Melita Emanuel-Carr is a proven floor general for UIC whose game has long been defined by scoring, vision, and toughness: in her UIC career she posted 7.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game across 111 games, with early seasons showing a real knack for getting to the line and creating steals. She’s the kind of guard who gives you connective play, defensive activity, and veteran poise, plus she has battled back from injury before, which says something about her resilience and competitiveness. If you want a steady, experienced guard who brings energy and doesn’t fade when the game gets scrappy, she’s a strong fit.
