Southern’s Daniel Edwards brings steady linebacker value with real game-day instincts
Daniel Edwards is a Southern University linebacker who appears to be a reliable, physical piece in the Jaguars’ front seven, with ESPN listing him on the 2026 roster and Southern’s roster identifying him as a 6-foot, 210-pound defender out of White Castle High School[1][2]. His profile suggests a smart, compact LB build built for contact and downhill play, and the big question for a team evaluating him is whether that toughness translates into consistent sideline-to-sideline production at the next level[1][2].
