a 6-foot-8 Davidson forward who flashed as a rotational piece in 2013-14
Joe Aase was a 6-foot-8 forward on Davidson’s 2013-14 roster, where he appeared as a depth option and brought size to the Wildcats’ front line. In the 2013-14 season, ESPN listed him at 0.8 points, 1.0 rebounds, and 0.2 assists per game, with his best value coming from being a long, physical presence rather than a high-usage scorer. That profile fits a coach who wants a willing role player: low-drama, team-first, and useful when you need extra length, energy, and matchup flexibility.
