Malik Ellison gives Eastern Michigan a versatile, experience-backed backcourt piece
Ellison is a 6-foot-5 guard with a proven scoring résumé, highlighted by a 2024-25 season at Stetson in which he played all 32 games, started 25, and averaged 14.6 points with 36.6% three-point shooting. He also brings playmaking and two-way value, with 2.5 assists and 0.8 steals per game, plus a history of handling bigger roles across multiple programs. The biggest reason to care: he looks like a reliable, mature guard who can stretch the floor, create off the dribble, and fit as an experienced connector in a team needing perimeter production and steadiness.
