Andrew Lafond Brings La Salle a Low-Error, High-IQ Backcourt Mindset
Andrew Lafond is a La Salle guard whose value has been more about reliability, basketball IQ, and program familiarity than box-score volume. In his La Salle playing career, he appeared in 16 games from 2018-22 and earned Atlantic 10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll recognition twice, then moved into basketball operations and video work before returning to the program in 2026 as Director of Basketball Operations. That path suggests a detail-oriented, team-first presence with a strong scouting and support profile—an easy fit for staffs that prize communication, preparation, and toughness.
