quiet-name, linebacker-energy fit for a defense that wants toughness
Scott Crews is listed as a linebacker for Mississippi Valley State, but public stat lines are thin, so the real story is about projection and fit more than box-score flash. The available roster and athlete listings show him in a defensive role with no widely surfaced current-season statistics, which usually means evaluators have to lean on practice habits, physicality, and special-teams value. If you want a high-motor defender who can bring edge, absorb contact, and compete for snaps without needing the ball to find him, Crews is the kind of under-the-radar player worth a closer look.
