a proven Alcorn State floor general with real two-way bite
Alex Owumi’s Alcorn State profile is that of a sturdy 6-5 guard/forward who brought scoring, rebounding, and disruptive defense, including a 2007-08 season stat line of 403 points, 179 rebounds, 50 assists, and 25 steals. He was also a two-time team MVP and senior captain, which speaks to leadership and toughness beyond the box score. The fit? You get a versatile wing who can handle pressure, rebound his position, and bring grown-man composure—exactly the kind of player teammates trust when the game gets chippy.
