Kevin Gunnells brings linebacker size and a hometown Texas frame to Lamar's defense
Gunnells is listed on Lamar’s 2013 roster as a 5-foot-11, 210-pound freshman linebacker from Houston’s George Bush High School, which suggests a compact, physical fit for run support and inside tackling duties.[1] There is no reliable stat line or scouting dossier in the available sources, so the clearest takeaway is profile-based: he looks like a developing linebacker prospect rather than a proven production leader, and the lack of current game data makes it hard to project more than depth and developmental upside right now.[1][2]
