Nate Walker brings JUCO-built size and immediate run support to UAPB's linebacker room
In the 2026 season, Nate Walker has already logged 15 tackles, including 6 solo and 9 assisted, for Arkansas-Pine Bluff, flashing the downhill physicality UAPB wanted from its Northwest Mississippi CC transfer. At 6-foot-0 and 220 pounds, he looks like a sturdy, tackle-absorbing linebacker who can help versus the run, and his JUCO background suggests he arrived game-ready rather than as a long-term project. The fit is strongest for a defense that values reliability, contact courage, and steady assignment football over splash-play hype.
