Smith is a 6-foot-9 forward who has already shown he can be a real rotation-level piece, finishing the 2024-25 season at UC Riverside with 11.0 points and 4.6 rebounds per game while starting all 34 games and knocking down 58 threes at a 33% clip.[11][16] His value is not just spacing: he’s a physical rebounder with enough perimeter skill to stretch defenses, and he has produced in big moments, including 20 points against a ranked BYU team and an 11-rebound game in the Big West Tournament.[11] The main question is efficiency and consistency, but his size-plus-shooting profile makes him a useful fit for a system that wants forwards who can play inside and out.[1][11]
