Kalina Obrey brings efficient wing scoring and veteran grit to San Jose State
Kalina Obrey is a 5-foot-10 G/F for San Jose State who arrived with a strong prep résumé, including Hawaii Gatorade Player of the Year honors and a reputation as a high-volume scorer, rebounder, and defensive playmaker in high school. In her 2019-20 college season, she was ultra-efficient in limited minutes, shooting 57.1% from the field and 66.7% from three while averaging 0.9 points in 4.5 minutes per game. The appeal is clear: she gives you size, versatility, and a winning background, though her college sample is still small and her recent game impact is harder to verify from public stat lines.
