Ben Coupet Jr. gives Southern Illinois a proven, multi-year scoring wing with range
Coupet is a durable, experienced guard/wing who has been a reliable two-way connector for Southern Illinois, highlighted by a 2021-22 season in which he played all 31 games, made 27 starts, scored 11.0 points per game, and added 4.6 rebounds while hitting double figures 17 times. He brings size, shooting touch, and steady production, which makes him valuable as a lineup fit rather than just a stats-only player. If you want a veteran who can space the floor, compete on the glass, and handle real minutes without much drama, he is an appealing fit.[1][2][5]
