Aaron Carney brings steady linebacker depth and veteran reliability to UT Martin
Aaron Carney’s profile points to a dependable, physical linebacker presence for UT Martin, with ESPN listing him at linebacker and UTM showing a 5-11, 231-pound frame that fits a downhill, run-first role. In UT Martin’s 2010 team stats, Carney recorded 36 total tackles, with 20 solo and 16 assisted, which suggests a player who lived around the ball and could finish plays. He looks like a value-add for a defense that needs toughness, gap discipline, and consistent effort more than flash.
