Randey Peterson brings veteran toughness and steady tackler value to Sacramento State
In the 2014 season, Randey Peterson was a senior defensive back for Sacramento State who appeared in six games at safety and recorded 15 total tackles, showing the kind of gritty, reliable run support that coaches love in the back end[1][2]. His profile suggests a tough, experienced defender rather than a flashy ballhawk, and the biggest red flag is durability: his earlier Sacramento State bio notes he sat out the 2013 season due to injury after redshirting in 2012[1][2]. If a team wants a physical DB with game experience and a no-drama, bring-your-hard-hat style, Peterson fits the bill[1][2].
