Lorenzo Akins brings speed, leverage and raw power to the edge
Lorenzo Akins III projects as an undersized but active edge defender for Arkansas-Pine Bluff, listed at 5'11" and 180 pounds with a 4.6 forty, a 315-pound bench and a 405-pound deadlift, which points to unusual functional strength for his frame.[3] His profile suggests a DE/OLB hybrid who can win with effort, burst and toughness rather than pure size, making him more intriguing as a high-motor fit than a finished product.[3] Publicly available, reliable game production and rankings data are limited, so the clearest takeaway is his athletic upside and strength profile rather than proven stat-line dominance.[3]
