Wake Forest’s Man-Cover Corner With NFL-Caliber Physicality
Caelen Carson built his Wake Forest reputation as a tough, physical corner who could hold up in man coverage and support the run, which is why NFL evaluators slotted him as a mid-round prospect before the 2024 draft. Scouting writeups praised his competitiveness and impact play style, and his profile fit a defense that values press ability and willingness to tackle. If you want a DB with real edge and a pro-ready frame, he’s worth the look; if you need elite ball production, that was never his loudest calling card.
