High-upside lefty with real swing-and-miss flashes for JMU
In the 2026 season, Alex Bingler gives James Madison a young left-handed arm with size, projection, and bite: he’s listed at 6-foot-3, 215 pounds, and his 2025 freshman work included 10.1 innings with 14 strikeouts and a 6.10 ERA, plus a career-high six K’s in 3.2 innings against Charlotte. That points to a pitcher who can miss bats and compete in leverage, even if command and consistency are still being sharpened. He’s a fit if your team wants a developmental LHP with upside rather than a finished product.
