Sam Hughes brings size and versatility, but his Oregon fit is still a mystery
Sam Hughes is listed as an Oregon Ducks cornerback, but the available public data is thin on 2026 on-field production, so the real story is projection: he has the frame and defensive back background that can appeal to staffs looking for length and adaptability, yet there is no clear stat-line breakout to sell as of the 2025 season. That makes him more of a traits-and-trust evaluation than a headline-grabber — worth watching if you value upside, depth, and special-teams toughness, but not yet a plug-and-play star.
