experienced Army linebacker with a proven playmaking résumé
Scappaticci stands out as a physical, experienced linebacker whose Army career included preseason recognition and memorable impact plays, including an interception returned 35 yards in 2008 and a safety in 2010. He profiles as a disciplined fit for a system that values toughness, assignment soundness, and leadership more than flashy counting stats. The available reporting points to a dependable veteran presence rather than a headline-grabbing stat machine, which can be valuable for a defense built on consistency and trust.
