Reliable, high-volume tackler with DB versatility
Jaylen Mize’s Davidson profile shows a dependable defensive back who produced 56 tackles in 2015 and a team-high 54 tackles in 2016, proving he can stay on the field and handle a major workload in the secondary. That kind of production suggests a physical, assignment-sound defender who brings steady tackling and versatility rather than flash. For a team looking for a DB who can contribute in run support, make open-field stops, and play with consistency, Mize fits the mold of a trustworthy, tough-minded piece.
