Gabe Watson brings veteran shot-making and backcourt poise to Jackson State
Gabe Watson is a seasoned guard who gives Jackson State a steady ball-handler with real scoring juice: in the 2022-23 season, he averaged 9.0 points, 1.5 assists and shot 33.3% from the field over 6 games, while his earlier 2021-22 stretch showed more pop at 14.9 points per game in 7 games. He’s the kind of backcourt piece who can create off the dribble, stretch defenses from deep when he’s in rhythm, and add old-man-in-a-good-way composure. If your team needs a confident, experienced guard who has already lived in multiple college systems, Watson is worth a long look.
