Ball State guard Derrick DeShone brings a versatile backcourt presence
Derrick DeShone is a Ball State guard whose value would hinge on his ability to stabilize the backcourt with pace, decision-making, and two-way effort rather than headline-grabbing volume scoring. I could not verify reliable, athlete-specific public stat lines from the provided results, so the safest read is that he profiles as a guard to watch for floor leadership, competitiveness, and fit in a system that rewards disciplined play and guard depth. If your team needs a proven, data-backed impact guard, more current verified performance data is needed before making a call.
