Owen Geiger brings Navy a big-bodied righty with projection and strike-throwing upside
In the latest available Navy roster info, Owen Geiger is a 6-4, 215-pound freshman RHP from Atoka, Tennessee, and early reports describe a pitcher with upper-80s velocity, a hard back-side-driven delivery, and a sweeping breaking ball that can make at-bats uncomfortable. He appeared in relief for Navy in 2024, and that blend of physicality, strike-creation potential, and starter-type frame makes him an intriguing arm if your staff wants developmental upside rather than a finished product.
