former Michigan kicker, but not a current Wolverines contributor
Bryan Wright’s available profile points to a former Michigan kicker/punter rather than a 2026 Wolverines roster piece, so he shouldn’t be evaluated as a current roster fit. In his college career, he was known more for versatility than star-level accuracy: at Michigan he was a kickoff specialist and backup kicker/punter, and at Bowling Green in the 2010 season he earned Second-Team All-MAC honors while making 4 of 9 field goals and 17 of 19 extra points. If you’re scouting today’s Michigan special teams, he’s not the name to watch.
