Beny Bikar Jr. is Southern’s clutch, switch-hitting table-setter in the middle infield
In the 2026 season, Beny Bikar Jr. has been a steady, high-leverage presence for Southern, producing key extra-base hits and late-inning RBI moments, including the game-tying double in a 10-inning SWAC tournament win over Jackson State. He brings a compact 5'10", 155-pound frame, switch-hitting versatility, and enough bat-to-ball skill to keep innings alive; his 2026 Southern stat line lists a .222 average over 47 games with 37 hits and 19 RBI. The standout context: he was an All-American at Bo Porter Academy, and his value shows up in pressure spots, not just box-score flash.
