Campbell DB with Untapped Potential from 2019 Special Teams Spark
E.J. Anthony, a 5'10", 175-pound freshman defensive back for the Campbell Fighting Camels, flashed early promise in the 2019 season by playing in six games and notching two key special teams tackles in consecutive wins, showcasing hustle and reliability in high-pressure moments. From Jacksonville, NC, his compact frame and Big South conference experience highlight strengths in speed and coverage instincts, making him a gritty, developmental fit for teams seeking undervalued DBs with special teams versatility—perfect if you need intensity without the prima donna vibe, though limited snaps leave room for breakout growth.
