Elite Defensive Guard with Captain’s Intensity for Clemson
Simone Westbrook, a graduate transfer guard for the Clemson Tigers, stands out as an All-ACC Defensive Team member (2018-19 season) who averaged 22.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 5.5 steals per game in her senior year, showcasing rare scoring-stuffing versatility. Beyond stats, her captaincy in junior and senior years reveals leadership under pressure, while her 5.5 steals/game reflect relentless intensity and defensive IQ that disrupts opponents’ rhythm. Though no injury history is noted, her 43.1% FG% and 3.0 assists/game (2018-19) hint at a balanced, team-first mindset. She’s a perfect fit for teams needing a high-intensity, defensively dominant guard who elevates teammates—her personality and clutch performance make her a must-watch, not just a stat sheet.
