Kristi Little was Duquesne’s defensive standout
Kristi Little earned Duquesne’s 2008 Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year honor, a strong signal that her value went beyond scoring and into game-changing stops, toughness, and defensive reliability. Reliable source material in the search results does not include current-season Duquesne game logs or recent statistical updates, so the clearest read is that her appeal was as a high-intensity, defense-first guard who could elevate a team’s pressure and accountability. If your team needs a tone-setting perimeter defender rather than a pure volume scorer, that profile is a fit.
