Valparaiso DL with High-Character Foundation and Multi-Sport Athleticism
Schroeder brings a rare combination of athletic versatility and academic excellence to Valparaiso's defensive line. The former multi-sport standout (football and track & field) graduated high school with a 3.75 GPA and earned All-Area honors as a captain. His track background—posting a 52.64 in the 400m—suggests explosive first-step potential and conditioning advantages. As a defensive lineman, his high-character profile and proven leadership make him a culture-builder. Best fit for programs valuing character, work ethic, and athletes who can contribute immediately while developing into reliable contributors.
