veteran Rams guard who brings tiny-but-tough energy
Patrick McCandies is listed as a Winston-Salem State guard and, in the 2025-26 season, ESPN shows him appearing in 13 games while averaging 2.2 minutes, 0.4 points, and 0.1 assists per game[1]. The stat line says “depth piece,” but the real differentiator is fit: he’s a local product from Winston-Salem, gives the Rams backcourt experience, and profiles as a low-usage, team-first guard who can stabilize possessions rather than demand them[1][2].
