Eric Waters brings ball-hawking upside and linebacker toughness to Northwestern State
Eric Waters profiles as a versatile defensive back for Northwestern State, with prior production that included three interceptions and a forced fumble in 10 games at Los Angeles-Pierce College, where he ranked third in the California Community College Athletic Association in picks. His background as a two-time all-league running back and all-city corner adds rare physicality and instinct to his game, making him a fit for teams that value aggressiveness, versatility, and special-teams edge. Current 2026 game stats were not available in the sources reviewed, but his playmaking history and two-way athletic résumé suggest a high-upside, disruptive safety if he stays healthy and keeps climbing.
