Rasaan Powell remains one of Alcorn State’s most reliable paint threats
Rasaan Powell’s Alcorn State profile reads like a classic frontcourt engine: a 6-foot-2 forward who historically produced efficiently, posting a career 12.9 points and 6.6 rebounds per game with 48.4% shooting in college. In the 2005-06 season, she averaged 18.4 points per game, and in a 2005 postseason game she delivered 17 points and 11 rebounds, showing a knack for big-game production. The takeaway? She brings inside scoring, rebounding, and physical presence—a fit for a team that wants a tough, dependable forward who can bang, score, and rebound without needing the spotlight.
