Size, patience, and a comeback story with real upside
Erika Kankfelt is a 6-foot forward from Espoo, Finland whose profile is built on versatility, international experience, and resilience; Portland’s roster history notes she spent 2018-19 recovering from injury and the broader record shows only brief college action, so her appeal is less about box-score volume and more about whether her length, mobility, and frontcourt fit can translate into dependable minutes. She’s the kind of player a team might like if it values a developmental, low-ego forward with a pro-style background and a chip-on-the-shoulder edge.
