Bassel Saliba Jr. brings proven scoring pedigree and gritty backcourt upside to FDU
Saliba is a 6-4 guard with real scoring pedigree, having averaged 19.5 points and 8.6 rebounds as a senior at Hackensack and earned First Team All-Bergen County honors, while FDU’s bio also describes him as a player with “talent and grit.” [1][2] At FDU, his early college role was modest—1.9 points per game in 24 appearances as a sophomore and 1.0 point per game as a freshman—but his value is his size, toughness, and ability to contribute on the glass and at the foul line, which can translate well for teams needing a physical, competitive guard.
