Matt Murchison brings left-handed juice, multi-positional flexibility, and a winning pedigree to UNCW
Matt Murchison is a 5-foot-11, 180-pound freshman outfielder at UNC Wilmington who arrives with a strong prep track record: as a senior at Grace Christian, he hit .393 with 12 extra-base hits, 28 RBIs, and 31 runs, after posting a .411 average and seven homers as a junior[4][8]. He was a four-time all-conference and all-state performer and helped lead Grace Christian to state titles in his junior and senior seasons, which says a lot about his competitiveness and ability to show up in meaningful games[4]. The fit is appealing if you want a left-handed bat with offensive upside, versatility, and a player accustomed to being a captain-level presence[4][12].
