experienced Morgan State guard with proven scoring bursts
Antonio Gillespie is a veteran Morgan State guard who can give a team steady backcourt presence and timely scoring, highlighted by a 17-point effort in a road game against South Carolina State and a season line that included 14 assists and 11 steals, showing he contributes beyond just points.[1][5] ESPN lists him at 4.3 points, 1.0 rebound, and 0.6 assists per game with a 32.6% field-goal rate, so the appeal is more about role fit, defensive activity, and experience than high-volume production.[3] For a team needing a mature guard who brings hustle, ball pressure, and occasional offense, he looks like a useful depth piece rather than a primary creator.[2][5]
