Senior-Rotation Anchor With Bite for NJIT
In the 2026 season, Brandon Peterson has been a dependable right-hander for NJIT, working as a team captain and posting a 3.92 ERA with 37 strikeouts in 43.2 innings, while also turning in shutdown outings like 6.0 scoreless innings with six strikeouts against Bryant. He’s not overpowering, but he competes hard, can work deep into games, and has shown he can bounce back after injuries and still handle a weekend rotation role. If your team wants a tough, experienced starter who brings grit and strike-throwing poise, he’s absolutely worth a look.
