D.J. Mason brings veteran paint presence and a hustle-first edge to Campbell
D.J. Mason is a sturdy, experienced frontcourt piece for Campbell who has been recognized for production and impact around the rim, including a 4th-team All-Conference nod from College Sports Madness and ranking among Big South leaders in multiple categories during his time with the Camels[2][6]. In the 2025-26 context, ESPN lists him on Campbell’s roster as a forward, while Campbell’s own roster notes he has played center and started 24 of 32 games in a season, signaling trust, durability, and a role built on interior defense, rebounding, and hard-nosed minutes[1][2]. If your team needs a physical, low-maintenance big who competes and understands his role, he’s the kind of glue guy coaches tend to love[2][6].
