Trae Ferrell brings proven playmaking and turnover creation to Alcorn State’s linebacker room
Trae Ferrell profiles as a disruptive, ball-hawking linebacker whose value goes beyond tackles: ESPN lists him with 6 solo tackles, 1 sack, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 interception, and a Grambling State coaching bio notes he was second-team and top-10 in the FCS in fumbles recovered in the prior season[2][6]. That combination of production and turnover flair makes him a strong fit for a defense that wants impact plays from the second level, though the available public data is limited on full-season workload and injury history[2][5].
