Geena Gomez brings steady guard play and playmaking punch for San Diego State
Geena Gomez is a reliable, distribution-minded guard for San Diego State who has contributed 7.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game while shooting 33.2% from the field in the current season[1]. She stands out more for feel and floor organization than pure scoring burst, and earlier in her SDSU career she showed she could spike into big-play mode, including a career-high 11 assists in a game and multiple 20-point outings[8][11][15]. If a team needs a poised guard who can run offense, compete, and keep teammates involved, she’s the kind of steady fit coaches usually appreciate.
