Ryan Cochran is Lehigh’s steady on-base spark with gap power and veteran polish
In the 2026 season, Ryan Cochran has been a reliable everyday infielder for Lehigh, hitting .293 with a .429 OBP, .402 SLG, 15 runs, 12 RBI, and 9 doubles in 26 starts, while also drawing 14 walks and getting hit by 7 pitches[1][4]. What makes him interesting is the blend: he’s not just a bat-to-ball guy, he’s a table-setter who works counts, takes free bases, and has shown multi-hit upside, including a 3-for-3 game with 3 RBI at Davidson[1][13]. He’s the kind of player coaches love because the approach looks mature, the at-bats play in different game states, and the profile says “smart contributor” more than “flashy stat-stuffer.”
