Christian Cumber brings local-prospect pedigree and size to Colorado State’s secondary
Cumber is a 6-foot, 180-pound defensive back from Denver who arrived at Colorado State as a 3-star cornerback prospect and brought a strong prep resume that included 215 tackles, 8 interceptions, and 2 forced fumbles in 37 high school games. He fits as a physical, versatile DB with proven ball production and tackling range, which matters if you want a defender who can support both coverage and run defense. Publicly available sources do not show detailed recent college stat production, so his current impact is best evaluated as a developmental secondary piece with upside rather than a proven high-volume starter.
