UNCG's Steady Role-Player Forward from a Decade Ago
DeAngelo Jackson, a 6'2" forward for the UNC Greensboro Spartans in the 2010-11 season, appeared in all 30 games with 12 starts, averaging modest career NCAA stats of 1.7 PPG and 1.5 RPG while shooting 42.6% from the field; his high school pedigree from East English Village Prep and Oak Park highlighted guard versatility, but limited production and age (now 24 in recruiting profiles) make him a low-upside bench option lacking elite athleticism or scoring punch for competitive teams today.
