Low-volume Coastal Carolina DT with limited current production
Jonathan Clayton is a depth defensive tackle for Coastal Carolina whose current impact has been modest, with 2 tackles, 1 assist, and no sacks or passes defended in the available stat line. That said, his profile suggests a traditional interior lineman look—built to occupy blocks and do the dirty work rather than pile up flashy numbers—and he was originally recruited as a sizable DT prospect out of Jacksonville. If you need a high-motor, space-eating role player instead of a disruptive stat compiler, he fits that mold; if you want immediate backfield production, the numbers do not show that yet.
