A 5-6 guard from DeSoto, Texas, Gatewood arrived at SFA as a McDonald's All-American nominee and 2021 Texas 6A State Champion. After a limited freshman year at Kansas State, she's in her junior season with the Ladyjacks. In 2023-24, she appeared in nine games averaging 13.3 minutes, posting a 4.7 PPG / 1.3 APG line on 27.5% shooting. Her career-high 19 points came in the season opener.
