A 6-6 point-guard engine who can score, defend, and make teammates better
Omari Moore was the Mountain West Player of the Year in the 2022-23 season, when he led San Jose State with 17.4 points per game and also filled the box score with 4.8 assists, 4.7 rebounds, and a strong two-way impact[1][8][13]. What makes him intriguing isn’t just the numbers: at 6-foot-6, he brings rare guard size, can defend top scorers, and has a reputation for steady improvement and toughness, including a school-record eight steals in one game[3][10]. If you want a versatile, high-IQ lead guard who can run an offense and raise the team’s ceiling, he’s the kind of player worth caring about[3][12].
