Hampton has shown he can be a useful backcourt piece because he brings scoring pop, perimeter shooting, and enough playmaking to keep an offense organized; at Mt. Hood Community College he averaged 19.9 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 1.6 steals in the 2024-25 season, and for Cal Poly Humboldt he has already delivered momentum-shifting games, including a career-high 22 points in a 2025 road win and a 16-point bench spark in another game. He looks like a fit for teams needing a combo guard who competes hard, attacks the basket, and can create offense without needing the ball every possession.
