Chester Sims brings size, experience, and linebacker toughness to HCU
Chester Sims is a 6-foot, 225-pound graduate-student linebacker at Houston Christian, giving the Huskies a mature, physically ready defender with college experience and a classic inside-LB frame. Publicly available roster data confirms his size, hometown, and graduate status, but not current-season production, so the clearest takeaway is his profile: an older, likely assignment-sound linebacker who should help with run fits, physicality, and leadership. If you need a steady, grown-up presence in the middle of the defense, Sims fits the bill.
