Rodney Whitmore Jr. brings size and upside to Alcorn State’s WR room
Whitmore is listed by Alcorn State at 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds, giving the Braves a rangy receiver build that fits an outside role in the 2026 season[2]. Current public stat detail is limited, but ESPN still tracks him in Alcorn State’s player pool, suggesting he remains a name to watch in the rotation[1][9]. His appeal is the classic upside profile: size, leverage, and development potential rather than a flashy stat-line résumé, which makes him more of a “bet on traits” fit than a finished product[2].
